Kwantlen Polytechnic gets funds for new high tech fashion department:
Lululemon Athletica founder Chip Wilson announced Friday he will help fund a new $36-million school of design focusing on high-tech clothing at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Wilson said he and his wife Shannon will donate $8 million, to be combined with $4 million from the Vancouver-based company he founded in 1998, to launch the Chip and Shannon Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen’s Richmond campus.
